Mimmo Elia, Principal, was until recently manager in the Thermal System Technology business at ENVIRON International Corporation. He has a broad background in the areas of heat transfer, combustion, thermodynamics, design and analysis of thermal and mechanical systems. Mr. Elia has led successful development efforts for commercial and government clients in the areas of gas-fired appliances, automotive fuel injectors and exhaust treatment systems, as well safety devices for lithium-ion batteries. Prior to his three years at Environ, Mr. Elia spent six years in the Energy Technologies group at Arthur D. Little and TIAX in Cambridge MA. He a BS and an Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.

Jason Targoff, Principal, was until recently Group Leader, Clean Energy and Fuels at TIAX LLC in Cambridge MA, where he led the development effort on many ongoing activities around energy and fuels. He has a background in the areas of fluid mechanics, combustion, and thermodynamics. Mr. Targoff has led successful development efforts in combustion systems for power generation, Stirling engine and heat exchanger design and fabrication for the US Military, and fuel cell power plant system design for a major petrochemical company. Prior to his five years at TIAX, Mr. Targoff was a Senior Engineer at Analytic Energy Systems, a formerly-Chevron owned fuel cell company based in Woburn MA. He holds a BS from Brown University and a Masters from University of California, Berkeley, in Mechanical Engineering.
